Alex Buck is a Senior Architect at Buckley Gray Yeoman and a Certified Passivhaus Designer. He has a deep commitment to sustainable design and construction, with a goal to reduce the UK's built environment climate footprint by integrating environmental strategies into well-designed people-centric spaces.
With a decade of experience in the built environment, he has led teams across all RIBA stages on projects ranging from smaller conservation efforts like Bedford Row to large-scale commercial retrofits such as 2 Gresham Street, 206 Marylebone Road, and Broadgate Tower.
Alex is a champion of circular economy principles, and existing fabric thermal upgrades to minimise operational and embodied carbon in buildings. Outside of work, he takes an active interest in the green construction sector, participating in industry talks, conferences and networks to promote the transition to net zero.
