Sandra is responsible for driving sustainability performance within the British Land development pipeline, in alignment with the company’s 2030 Sustainability Strategy. Collaborating with design and construction teams across various development projects, her role focuses on reducing embodied carbon, enhancing energy efficiency, delivering NABERS, embedding circular economy principles, improving biodiversity, and achieving best in class sustainability certifications. Passionate about unlocking the barriers to the circular economy, Sandra has been developing practical processes for projects to enhance materials recovery and reuse, and implement materials passports. In addition, Sandra leads on corporate sustainability reporting for developments, including GRESB and CDP and is responsible for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
