Fernando Resende is a civil engineer with a master in sustainable construction and holds a MBA degree with thesis in circular economy. He has been in the construction /polymers industry for more than 20 years in various management positions. In 2011, he joined Bayer Material Science - now Covestro – to lead a program for development of sustainable solutions based on Polyurethanes and Polycarbonates in Latin America. Since 2016, he has been responsible for the Building & Construction segment in the Performance Materials unit from Covestro in EMEA and LATAM, with strong focus on polymers solutions and circular economy.
