Rafe Bertram’s role at the London Borough of Enfield is looking after our Council Housing Energy Efficiency and Retrofit programme across 10,000 Enfield Council Homes, as well as coordinating Enfield’s sustainable infrastructure, such as heat networks. His work aims to achieve the targets of the Council’s Climate Action Plan, to be climate neutral as an organisation by 2030 and as a whole borough to be climate neutral by 2040.
He is a Retrofit Coordinator, a Public Practice Alumni, sits on the Homes and Housing Advisory Board of the Connected Places Catapult and works with the Good Homes Alliance on Environmental Economics. He is an Architect, involved in the community group Retrofit Kentish Town and previously a partner at Foster+Partners.
