Anna Lisa is a qualified Architect with a long-standing interest in good design to create healthy cities and resilient communities. She joined White Arkitekter in April 2021, and is the UK head of sustainability as well as leading the circular economy research network. She coordinates sustainability strategy across the company’s international offices and has worked on the 5-year business plan within a core leadership group. Anna Lisa has a strategic role in both practice and advocacy organisations, driving decarbonisation of the built environment, and is regularly invited as a public speaker at sustainability and built environment events. She is a founding member of the Architects’ Climate Action Network, and a steering committee member for the international Architects Declare initiative. She has worked on award winning schemes with experience of residential, cultural, and healthcare sectors. Her career vision is to break down barriers within the construction industry and improve transparent knowledge share to shift the industry to be bio-based and regenerative.
