Hero is a Senior Sustainability Consultant and Partner at Max Fordham. She has worked on projects across sectors of varying scales including the arts, commercial and master planning sectors, schools and housing. Hero was responsible for developing the sustainability matrices (a sustainability communication tool originally created with Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios) for publication in the Architects Journal in 2010. A Chartered Environmentalist, some of her key interests include the mechanisms of how holistic sustainability is successfully incorporated into buildings and how the built environment can facilitate social sustainability. She has worked with a broad range of architects and clients to help them explore, define and deliver their project sustainability aspirations. Notable projects include Central Bank of Iraq, Agar Grove Estate Redevelopment, LSE Centre Range Buildings and National Conservation Centre Stirling.
