Mark has designed, delivered and developed expertise in projects across a diverse range of sectors encompassing landmark healthcare buildings, boutique bakeries, innovative schools, high end residential developments, financial headquarters and designer fashion stores.
He joined Penoyre & Prasad in 2003, became a Partner in 2012 and is currently leading high profile projects for University College London and several private developers. He also leads the development of the practice’s international healthcare portfolio.
Having worked and innovated across a variety of procurement routes, particularly within the public private partnership realm, Mark is well placed to help unlock the complexities of mixed use schemes and maximise the value of otherwise overlooked sites.
He is reliable and pragmatic. Experienced in delivering complex projects to time and budget, he led the prestigious, multi-award winning, Sir Ludwig Guttman Health & Wellbeing Centre on the Olympic village site in Stratford, a scheme delivered from appointment to completion in 27 months in readiness for the Games before immediately being reconfigured to provide health and wellbeing services for the local community for years to come.
He has recently completed the first phase of an extensive refurbishment of his own 1870’s family home to demonstrate the ossibilities of achieving exemplar standards of low energy use without detriment to the historic qualities of the existing fabric.
Outside of the office he teaches and examines at the University of Westminster and London Metropolitan University, is a certified Design Quality Indicator Facilitator and has recently taken on a role as Non Executive Director of the REAch2 Multi Academy Trust. The remainder of his time is split between his family and his Arsenal season ticket.
