As Head of Sustainability and Regenerative Design at Haworth Tompkins, Diana helps develop and lead strategy in this area, balancing practical in-house support/training, external advocacy and independent research. She is a qualified architect and a Certified Passivhaus Consultant.
In 2011 Diana received a Distinction for her MSc in Environmental Design at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources, UCL. Following this training Diana joined bere: architects, working on a number of low energy and passive house certified buildings and was involved in several Innovate UK funded Building Performance Evaluation studies. Subsequently, at Gluckman Smith, she specialised in design-led low energy new build and retrofits, including the Font House project (Leicestershire) which won a RIBA regional award, Conservation award, and also won her a RIBA regional Project Architect Award 2018. In 2019 Diana was a Sustainability consultant on the judging panel for RIBA Awards – London East, while in 2021 she was involved in editing the Architects Declare Practice Guide alongside a group of volunteers and the AD steering group.
