Judges

Our 2026 judges will be revealed soon.

The 2025 judges included Allan Sylvester of Ullmayer Sylvester, Andrew Henriques of Buckley Gray Yeoman, Helen Grassly of Burrell Foley Fisher, Julian Harrap of Julian Harrap Architects, Louisa Bowles of Hawkins\Brown, Marion Baeli of 10 Design, Shaun Ihejetoh of West Port Architects, Toby Neilson of BDG architecture + design and many more.

The judging process

• April: The judging process for all categories will begin in mid-March, with the shortlisted entrants being notified in April of their achievement. 

• June: An online 15-minute presentation slot will be assigned to all shortlisted entries. This will involve a 5-minute presentation to judges, and a 10-minute Q&A where judges will probe further into the detail. More detailed information on this will be communicated upon practices being notified of their shortlisted status.

• 24 September: The winners will then be announced at the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards at The Troxy
